Once the channels that have this feature upload videos, AI-dubbing will automatically be generated in connection with their channel. According to YouTube support documentation, dubs can be previewed, unpublished, or deleted. They now have application but lack its natural intonation at this point, but YouTube promised updates to allow nearer imitation to the original speaker’s tone, emotion, and environmental ambiance.
This was part of the rollout of the auto-dubbing feature, which was first introduced last June 2023 and was trialed by hundreds of selected creators to collect data and insights. This rollout is among the landmark moves by YouTube towards overcoming language barriers and making it more accessible on the global scene.
