Seeing the light as Zindigi, in partnership with PostEx, comes up with a novel solution to digitize cash-on-delivery payments and do away with age-old challenges in Pakistan’s e-commerce and logistics sectors.
RAAST powers the Dynamic QR feature, which allows riders to generate a QR code quickly through their PostEx application and, as a result, collect cash through various banking applications. This innovative solution changes the face of the logistics industry because it allows end-to-end cashless transactions as applied in the case of India and encourages unprecedented convenience to capture e-commerce shoppers while relieving logistics providers and merchants from the burden of operation.
Presently cash-on-delivery transactions are 90% of the e-commerce selling transactions in the country. This dependence upon cash has always posed a few inefficiencies and risks, including the possible loss or theft, and hindrances being in this state for such a long period. This advanced payment mechanism, however, addresses those issues pretty well.
The initiative is being piloted in the six main cities of the country, so this will help create confidence in the minds of people regarding the digital way of transacting and ultimately lead to cashless economies.
