A District and Sessions Court located in Islamabad has released a warrant for arrest against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur based in connection with a case of the possession of liquor and illegal arms.
The court issued orders to the SSP Operations to arrest the KP CM because he was a recurrent absentee in the hearings. Previously, the court had served a questionnaire to Zahoor Hassan, the CM’s counsel, as regards the contravening of Section 144 and illegal possession of weapons and liquor.

Additionally, the court inquired into whether a bottle of liquor confirmed by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency’s report, and a bulletproof jacket and an unlicensed weapon were recovered from the vehicle.
