The crash of a training aircraft belonging to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) occurred around Risalpur in the Nowshera district, which is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police state the aircraft crashed in a field next to the runway wall. The incident started a fire in the PAF training aircraft leading to an immediate rescue response by rescue teams, which included personnel from Rescue 1122, the Pakistan Air Force, and the Army, coming with ambulances and fire brigade units.

Besides, authorities confirmed that the wreckage of the aircraft is secure near the runway, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause. Last year, exactly during this time, the same happened, when a downed training aircraft crashed in the Gandaf area of Swabi while conducting routine exercises.
Fortunately, there were no casualties in the recent crash. The PAF pilot and crew members ejected from the aircraft using parachutes just before the impact and escaped unhurt. The aircraft would not be operational anymore due to the crash.
